This paper focuses on the topic “UNIFORM CIVIL CODE: ONE NATION ONE LAW”. Article 44 of the Indian constitution states that “The state shall Endeavour to secure for the citizens a uniform civil code throughout the territory of India”. A Uniform Civil Code suggests the idea for having the similar civil rules for all peoples without consideration of belief, caste, etc. the aims of uniform civil to make the Indian legal system simple with homogenous society. In India earlier prevailed the personal laws for civil matters like Hindu personal laws and Muslim personal laws. India being a country with diversity there was a requirement of establishing a constant civil code which would prevail so there is uniformity in law of the land relating to civil matters. The need of uniform civil code was a matter of argument for a long time. Though criminal law was codified earlier to the civil code. Constant Civil Code manages the laws of civil which govern the citizens without any partiality at the level of religions, caste or regions. Personal status, Marriage and divorce, rights related to attainment and management of belongings and acceptance are covered under the civil code. Higher Education in India: The Legal Conundrum

In the recent times and into the foreseeable future, it is hard to overemphasize the significance of education, and specially higher education, to the economic and communal advancement of the country. The Indian higher education system is dealing with an extraordinary alteration in the coming period. This change is being determined by economic and statistic change. The efforts are being made by India for the improvement in the higher education system since half century but the outcomes is limited or even minimum in terms of universal alteration. The paper shall inspect the character of the courts in being crucial to the controlling countryside of Indian higher education and claims that it an vital performer determining the controlling countryside of higher education, but it confuse so much by their decision. It shall analyze some important cases decided by the Hon’ble Court. It highlights that the Courts have been giving unpredictable and unclear conclusions that shifts its locus from doubting private sector to the recognition of the current truth and there is reason to believe that educational jurisprudence of the Supreme Court has been influenced by globalization. Reservation System of Judiciary in India

Law does not discriminate, it sees no gender or caste for that matter of fact, as it is projected by lady allegorical which personifies the moral force of judicial system. Her elements are a balance, a blindfold and a sword. A blindfold because it signifies that justice is blind towards outwardly world, it is objective and never biased, and so it should be throughout the world. Indian people have been suffering this discrimination since the very beginning. This paper focuses on the reservation system present in the Indian Judiciary. And discusses about the various evidences that have come to light regarding this matter. Objective of writing this paper is to create awareness and condemn the biasness to which society is suffering. A comparative study on Ethnocentrism and Consumer Ethnocentrism

Ethnocentrism is defined as the tendency of assuming the one’s own culture and way of life representation to the norm are superior to all others whereas the consumer ethnocentrism deals with the normative beliefs in the superiority of their own countries product. The present study deals with the comparative study and approach between the ethnocentrism and consumer ethnocentrism. In this aspects, the review on the basis of the domestic product and foreign dealing of one’s own country to another. It also cover the various issues concerning with the realm of the ethnocentric effect and the consistency of their effort.
